Astitva programme aims to create safe spaces for adolescent groups to acknowledge their unique identities by comprehending how to deal better with puberty and unpacking gendered upbringing. Astitva translates to identity. Under this project we talk about dealing with puberty, unique identities and build an understanding around gender, sexuality, self-belief, consent and solidarity. Gender and sexual education workshops with adolescents formulates our approach to achieve this vision. Our curricula for this project are a combination of Gender and sexuality education aimed at building empathy, inclusiveness and respect for all Genders.

Understanding Self and Safety
A four hour reflective session on our personal boundaries, safety nets and harassment in different spaces and forms. The session awares children of their comfort zones and encouurages them to voice ouut any forms of child abuse.
Teenage: body, mind and heart
Building an understanding of our body, mental processes and emotions during puberty and accepting the phase with confidence. The six hour session explores menstruation, ejaculation, genital care as well as ensuring positive attitudes towards our body and mind during adolescence.
Practicing Inclusivity
Understanding Gender, Sex and Sexuality, acknowledge biases and stereotypes due that come with boxed Gender identities and how thye impact our life choices. This 6 hour session.
Relationship and Sex ed
Navigating safe and healthy ways to explore peer, family and romantic relations in adolescence and efficiently deal with conflicts. This six-hour session is a discussion on managing emotions and feelings of attraction and attachment during puberty, how to safely navigate sexuality and understand the consequences of our decisions.
